First things first, happy Veteran's Day everyone. Hope you have a good one, and remember those who served.


Now anyway, here's what's been going on lately. Today at school, I got the H1N1 vaccine. You might have noticed in a previous journal entry that I said I got the swine flu once, but now I realize that it wasn't the swine flu, since I got the H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine today. I'm glad I got it, because I've heard recently that a lot of people have died from it. Also, I attended a Veteran's Day parade after school, we got out of school today at 2:00, and then I went to a Veteran's Day parade held near the Veteran's Home, which lasted about 45-50 minutes.

And just last night, we rented the movie Up. It was a very good movie, one of the best animated films I've ever seen. It was funny, it was exciting, and it was also sad in some parts too. And last week, I bought Brutal Legend and Uncharted 2 for PS3. (actually, I got Uncharted 2 about a day before we left on our trip to Florida, but I didn't get a chance to play it until last weekend) I've been playing those a lot lately.

And as for current art projects in school, the previous ones will be handed back to us soon, so once I get mine handed back, I will post them on here. The two art projects we're working on now are one where you have to draw something similar to American Gothic or Bedroom at Arle's, but change it a little, and for the other one, we have to paint something related to music. We started out today by learning how to mix paint to create lighter or darker colors.
